Three of Long Island’s most successful businesswomen will share their thoughts on how to successfully look for opportunities that can open doors to new careers. The event is free and open to the public. Panelists include:
Arlene Haims, a Certified Life Underwriter, a Chartered Financial Consultant as well as a Fellow of the Life Underwriters Training Council. An insurance professional for the past 27 years, she serves as the chief operating officer for Haims Insurance Group.
Karen McKenna, a career counselor, trainer and writer with over 25 years’ experience across multiple industries, and the founder of East-Setauket-based CareerVision.
Rona Wexler, an executive and career coach, draws on her own diverse experience as a career services director, executive recruiter, sales executive and manager with Xerox Corporation. She guides individuals to overcome obstacles in their careers and move forward to more rewarding, energizing careers. As a vocational evaluator she also provides expert witness services to assess employability and earning capacity for matrimonial and employment attorneys across the U.S.
The panel will be moderated by Beth Meixner, president and founder of the Moxxie Network, a women’s business community.
